1st ARAÇATUBA INTERNACIONAL FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL
“Vôti, Véi!” é uma expressão típica de Araçatuba e região, no interior de São Paulo, usada para demonstrar espanto e surpresa — um jeito bem local de reagir a algo extraordinário.Inspirado por essa energia, nasce o VÔTI VÉI! Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantástico de Araçatuba, um evento dedicado aos gêneros terror, fantasia e ficção científica.A programação trará produções nacionais e internacionais, com mostras competitivas de curta-metragens e exibições especiais de longas brasileiros. Também teremos oficinas e debates. É o primeiro festival do gênero na região e acontece de 20 a 23 de agosto de 2026, no Teatro Castro Alves, em Araçatuba-SP."Vôti Véi” is a typical expression from the city of Araçatuba and its surrounding region, in the countryside of the State of São Paulo, used to express astonishment and surprise.Inspired by this energy, VÔTI VÉI! Araçatuba International Fantastic Film Festival was born, an event dedicated to the genres of horror, fantasy, and science fiction.The program will feature national and international productions, with competitive short film screenings and special showings of Brazilian feature films. There will also be workshops and discussions. It is the first festival of its kind in the region and will take place from August 20th to 23rd, 2026, at the Castro Alves Theater in Araçatuba, São Paulo.
